Hello everyone, For the first time visitors, I am Juan Carlos Arias, a Colombian-born architect living and working in the USA. I have over 20 years of experience in the architectural design of corporate, retail, residential, institutional, and educational buildings. My work has been centered on the use of technology to deliver high quality architecture. I am a methodic designer with advanced skills using 3D architectural design and visualization software. This gives me the ability to perform early design exploration in SketchUp, 3Ds Max, and Maya; refine and advance the design using Revit; and create renderings in 3D Max for project presentations and design validation. I am a BIM expert, with over 10 years of experience creating digital models in Architectural Desktop and Revit to communicate design ideas to colleagues, consultants, and clients. Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to live and work in Australia, Mexico, and Colombia. I also have projects in China, South Korea, the Middle East, and the Philippines.
